This Spectra series Magnetic/Instantaneous Motor Circuit Protector provides NO thermal overload protection. These are used in conjunction with magnetic motor starters which have their own thermal overload protection feature. These are also the suggested replacement for the now obsolete TEC36 type protectors.NOTE: While the physical dimensions of the SELA are similar, it may require a modification in panel mounting and most likely will be INCOMPATIBLE with the existing motor control center or control panel external operatiog mechanism.
